Artyomka at the Circus

USSR. Original title: Priklyucheniya Artyomki. Alternate title: Adventures of Artyomka. In a southern seaside town in pre-revolutionary Russia, a 13-year-old boy named Artyomka, an orphan, the owner of a shoemaker's booth at a noisy bazaar, becomes a true friend and assistant to the professional revolutionary Popov and the black wrestler Chambers Peps, who once got off the schooner "Krasotka" that arrived at the port. Thanks to Peps, the boy becomes a regular at the circus. Here he meets the cheerful old clown Kubyshka and his daughter.
